In loving memory of a Pat (Frances) Dunne who sadly passed away on 1st September 2017, leaving behind a loving son, Patrick, daughter, Margret, grandchildren, Jo, Becky, Katie, James, Gabby, Charlie, great-grandson Dean and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Pat had a long and eventful life and leaves behind many happy memories. We would like to use this page for people to add their happy memories and photo's if you have them for us all to share.

There are also details of the funeral and the get together afterwards at the Cricketers pub, Cricket Hill Lane, GU46 6BA, in Yateley, where I hope we can share more found memories.

Flowers just from immediate family please but if you would like to make a donation to Phylis Tuckwell, who helped look after mum in her final days please do.

I will always remember and be grateful to Aunt Pat for her great kindness and generosity to me when I first came to live in London back in the eighties. Pat and Uncle Des were such lovely people, easygoing and great company. Fond memories of Robinson Road. xx

I'm sure we have a lot more photos together but this is one of the ones she kept in a box marked

I'm sure we have a lot more photos together but this is one of the ones she kept in a box marked "To keep or not to keep, that is the question. Sorry Patrick - I tried!" We miss so much but are so lucky to have had her in our lives for so long.

The stereotype view of a mother-in-law is usually pretty negative. My Mother-in-law Pat was the warmest, sweetest lady imaginable. She loved a good chat and a laugh, enjoyed the occasional sherry tipple (sometimes followed by an Irish jig) and adored her family. She was very proud of her Irish roots and talked very fondly and often about growing up in Ireland and the fun and adventures she shared with her brothers and sisters. She was mightily proud of her grandchildren and her eyes always lit up when they came into the room. She shared a special bond with my dear Mum and they consumed many a cup of tea and matter and I hope very much that they're busy catching up now over a cup of cha in some heavenly tea shop.
