In celebration of Donna’s life, we have organised a service at Mortonhall Crematorium in the Main Chapel. We welcome you to this service so that we can reflect together on Donna and her journey through life. At Donna’s own request that you wear something bright on the day.
The service is on Monday 18th September 2017 at 3pm and thereafter we will be having light refreshments in Charwoods in Buckstone if you wish to join us. You will be able to take time to leave messages of your own special memories and photographs at Charwoods, and the family will be able to reflect back on these in their own time.
Thank you for all the support and messages we have received, it is very much appreciated.
Please note that it will be family flowers only for the service – thank you.

My connection with the Newlands family goes back to childhood. It was a wonderful coincidence when my daughters happened to go through primary and high school with 2 of Donna's sons. She was an absolute delight to know, and will always be remembered with great affection. Saying goodbye today was difficult, but Kevin and her sons did her proud. Love and memories never die.

I'm devastated by the loss of my wonderful big sister. You have given me so many amazing memories over the years. You taught me so many things and were always there to give advice when I needed it. You were not only my Sister but also like my mum and friend at times.
You were an amazing person and full of fun and positivity.
I feel lost without your support or advice. I wish you could have been here to share in the joy of Rebecca's memories but I am glad you got to meet Rebecca and she will know who her Auntie Donna was and how truly amazing, fun, loving and caring you were.
I miss you with all my heart. Love your little Brother Brian.

Donna you are sadly missed by so many. You were a woman who had so much strength, positivity and grace. You were a remarkable woman who brought so much to our Nursery team and taught us all so much. I will always remember you as the tea lady.. the woman how drank so much tea, dancing with the children to fabbydabbydee and leading so many parent workshops which helped so many families. I will miss our coffees in costa but all of these memories I will cherish for ever! You will always be in our hearts Mrs Newlands and never forgotten. Shine bright as you always did. All my love Ninaxxx

I can't believe you are gone. I miss you so much. I am saddened that you will not be here to watch Rebecca grow or be able to make memories together with Rebecca. I miss our chats and spending time with you with Rebecca. You were the bravest and strongest woman I have ever met. Rebecca will carry your name with pride. You were the best sister in law I could ask for. I loved spending time together having the most amazing cooked dinners and a good laugh together. We will cherish Boxing Day as a family and share memories of you on this special day. Loved always Nicola
