In loving memory of Arthur Kennedy who sadly passed away on 2nd October 2017, aged 80 years. Beloved husband of Christine and father of Iain and Alistair. Proud Grandfather to Anna, Orla, Callum and Millie.

Arthur will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

We have politely requested family flowers only, but would welcome donations in memory to either The Snowdrop Suite at Burton Queens Hospital, or to the SANDS Charity, both are very important to us and their support has had a direct impact on our family.

Arthur has been so helpful to me over the last 10 years working with the Village Hall and Parish Council. Always a friendly face, with so much to give and so many stories to tell - he will be very much missed and fondly remembered.

We are so sorry to hear of Arthur death. We first met Arthur and Christine when we moved into our new home in Linden Road during May 1966 and was aware of the importance of them in Barton community. Arthur was a stalwart and will be missed, but fondly remembered, by us and the Barton community. Our condolences go to all of the family at this sad time

Karen and I were vere sad to hear that Arthur had passed. I spent a lot of time working with and alongside Arthur in Barton, and always enjoyed his company. Arthur was very helpful to me in my early days in the village, and over the years we experienced many shared interests, with local history and the Parish Council. Arthur was involved in so many things in Barton it will be a different place without him, but we have our memories and they will never fade. Our thoughts at this time are with Christine Iain and Alistair and the rest of the family.
