Mum...
I can't believe where this past year has gone... it only feels like yesterday since I was laughing with you.... I want to tell you so much...I do..in my own way...I question if you can hear me anymore mum...😔😔
I miss you so very much...more than I could ever say to anyone..
You were my lovely guiding light but I'm struggling to keep the light lit...
Love you forever x

Life for me has been on hold since that fateful day on Oct 5th. Caught up in the shock and disbelief and trying to make sense of it all has taken me to a dark place too many times. And yet with it has come the realisation that this is indeed my time and I need to take it and embrace it for the duration and to give it my best shot. For when the time comes for us to meet again I can say with pride 'I did it mum'😌 💜xx

Mummy...I talk to you...are you hearing me...I feel nothing. I'm still so very numb...when will I start to grieve for you. Acceptance of you not being here anymore is simply not happening. I bought you a present without thinking. I keep taking pictures of all my baking to send to you. Then I just cry. Then I chastise myself. It's rubbish mum. I miss you so very very much. You were my rock. Xx
