LLOYD - June Noreen, peacefully on 16th October 2017 with her family at The White House Care Home, of Southsea, aged 85 Years. Beloved wife of J. M. B., much loved mum of Chris and Debbie, dear mother-in-law Jeanette, loving nana of Samantha, Sean, Amy, Zoe, Kate, Erin, Josh, proud great nana Ava and Esther. Family flowers only please, donations if desired may be given in memory via the offertory plates for All Saints Church, Southsea and the Residents Comforts Fund at The White House Care Home.

June was born in Wrexham to Ernest and Mavis Hallmark. June passed her exams and attended Grove Park Grammer school for girls in Wrexham. She attended college in Liverpool and became a comptometer operator. June went to work in Brymbo Steelworks where she worked alongside member of her own family and Johns family. June was never still, if it was not charity work she was helping with it was always helping others. A large part of her life was making the cricket teas at Brymbo Cricket Club during the 70's and 80's, her husband John and son Chris playd cricket there and it was a large part of her life. June had a number of good friends and was always there for someone in need. June loved her son and daughter very much and when the grandchildren came along she helped to look after them. She was a beloved nana to her grandchildren and was the best! She always put them first and loved them all very much. June waited foro the birth of her second great grandaughter Esther with Ava being the first and met her whilst at the latter stages of her illness.

June's father had been the caretaker of her beloved All Saints Church and soon became the secretary herself once he had passed on. June along with others battled to keep Southsea Church once the old one it was demolished. June helped to build the church up to how it is now when it was re-established in the old school rooms. June slowly started to become ill around 2012 and John lovingly looked after her until 2015. When the dementia took a hold
June was admitted to The Whitehouse Care Home where she had been treated as a part of the family there.
Debbie her daughter is the Manager of the home and was privelaged to be with her mum nearly every single day and oversaw her care. The worst part of the dementia which took hold of her developed slowly just over 2 years in the care home. June experienced dementia at its worst and passed away in the arms of her daughter. June had her loving family visit her throughout her stay and after 60 years of marriage John visited her tirelessly.

Fly high June, away from that dreaded disease and smile and laugh again.
