Max, thank you for all the crazy nights out, holidays and fun times. My 'wild years' were honestly the best because of you, Adam and Emily. Oh we got up to some crazy stuff! You bring laughter everywhere you go! I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to catch up with you and I will always regret that. I feel so fortunate to have met you and share so many happy memories. I will never, ever forget you or our crazy times xxx

I love this photo of my dear friend Max. Taken 2 years ago went he and I spent my birthday in Berlin. He made a great effort to come and join me and I was delighted when he arrived. He always made me so very happy. I’ll miss him.

My experience of Max was seeing him as a devoted and loving son, protective and fun big brother, proud owner of a snake, loyal friend, and a beautiful young man with a great sense of humour, a big heart and a bigger smile. His life may have been short but its impact was huge. I am happy to donate to a worthy cause in Max's name. May you sleep sweetly Max. XXX

Max was the life and soul of any party. Always centre of attention. A comedian. The clown. Max must have had thousands of friends. Everyone he ever met loved him. But Max had a huge heart and loved each and every one back just as much. Max liked to travel and you would always see his Facebook filled with photos of his adventures. One of those adventures with me was at Gran Canaria Pride 2011 – the first of many that I attended but the first was always the best and Max was a huge part of why that was. You couldn’t help but love his infectious smile and ridiculous sense of humour!

As with all good friends, sometimes life gets in the way, you go in different directions but I always made the time to catch up with Max when I could. This year Max did something for me which I was really touched by, completely out the blue, proving you never lose a good friend, no matter if life gets in the way or not. I owed you one mate but I guess you’ll have to wait for that drink because I don’t intend to join you any time soon! Sleep tight Max, I know I speak for everyone that knew you when I say it won’t be the same without you.
