Well big lad, what can I say, but I miss you.
I spent some of the best years of my life with you fella, through Iraq and Afghanistan not to mention many a night out. I wish I could pick the phone up and speak to you, not only for a laugh, but for advise and guidence. I never new a man and still haven't who was so funny and yet so switched on, when it suited him. I feel a loss for your wife and children, but also a selfish loss, I could of had so many more memories with you and so could my family.
You touched so many lives, and that speaks volumes about the man you were. Sorry its took so long to say I loved you fella, but Its been hard to accept mate.

As a young kid growing up at Heath field Mitch you were a lad who everybody looked up to and respected.
A lad who was hard as nails lol but would stop anyone who was picking on other kids and would stop to speak to anyone and give them your time to chat and ask how they were. I always thought you seemed like the kind of person that nothing ever bothered or phased you so came as a massive shock to me to hear what you have been dealing with.
When you joined the RAF to serve the queen and country I thought of you with the upmost respect as it takes bloody guts and balls to join knowing what you can get put through and from stories from my cousin adam who still serves to this day, and to that I say thank you for serving our country.
I was so glad when I seen you a few years back and you said you had just started doing your apprenticeship to join the gas trade but then was gutted when I found out only a year or so later you had stopped doing it and gone to a completely different career. I was looking forward to hopefully working with you one day on some jobs.
you always took time out from your nights on the lash, up topps or in Hinckley etc to come over and have a good chat about life and work and ask me and my family are.
It's with a heavy heart and and a tear in my eye I say rest in peace pal and see you again another time my friend. X
