Patrick (Paddy) McClare (7 Sep 1930 - 4 Dec 2017)

In loving memory of my late father, Patrick (Paddy) McClare who sadly passed away on 4th December 2017.

Those of you who knew him will remember a kind and literally ‘gentle’man. I though remember a man who went out of his way to provide and care for his loved ones. A man I didn’t see much of as a child as he was, loyally, working hard to provide for his family, my mum and I. But a man who I have tried to emulate every day of my adult life.

I miss him more than words can say but if I can become even half the man Paddy was then I’ll see that as a success in my life.

It wasn’t just me though that has been affected by dad’s passing as he leaves behind his sister Marie, niece Helen and many many nieces and nephews who I know will miss him dearly.
