Anil my friend, it has taken me this long to build up the strength to write this message and as I do I still cannot believe you are gone. I've known you for 25 years now and never was there a day in that time that you friendship was doubted. I, as also many of your friends, knew that if there was something that needed to be done we simply just picked up the phone and you were there. I, however will always remember the other times. The times we used to spend in Apache, or the pub or even the countless hours spent just chatting at the garage, be it Lyndhurst Road or Gladstone Road, the crazy adventures we had and above all the laughs. I will never forget the time you spent with me and my family when my dad passed away, to this day my family remember that and comment on how your support gave us strength at that time. Wherever you are now my friend I hope you are at peace, you may be gone but you will NEVER be forgotten.

Our deepest sympathies at the loss of my cousin Anil going out to his Fiance, his parents and siblings. He was a wonderful human being and remember how he and his family were kind and hospitable in Jan 2002 when they hosted me in their home when I landed in U.K for the first time.In September last year I spent some time with him and was happy to be shown around his new home. What happened to Anil shows the impermence of life. He left this world so prematurely in the prime of his life. But this is the eternal truth which we all will be subjected too. In memory of Anil
I will be donating medical supplies to the Professorial Surgical unit at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka on 01/15/2018 valued at over 20k USD. Also another donation will also be made to Tampa Buddhist Vihara and a 3months alms giving in his memory will be organized by my mother his Aunt Rupa in Sri Lanka in March. Please accept our sincere condolences and know that you will keep strong according to the teachings of the Dhamma. May he attain the supreme bliss of nirvana.

Uncle Anil, we miss you deeply & always will. You were such a good, kind person. One in s million. You were always there for everyone. Always there for myself & Dad. I Couldn’t believe it until I saw you yesterday. We’re still in shock. We’re so sad and devasted that you’re gone. We’ve always considered you as family. You’ve always called me your Niece and treated me like it. We will always remember you and will always cherish the happy memories that we’ve shared. Thank you for all your support and guidance over the years. I’ve always looked up to you since childhood. You were a great role model to me & a brother to my dad. Only a few weeks ago, you were telling me that your long lasting friendship with dad (over so many years) is a rarity. For over 25 years, you held each other as brothers. To all the family, please accept our deepest condolences. We will always be here to support. We can only imagine how hard it is for you during this very sad time. Keep faith and keep strong. Our prayers are with you all. Rest in peace Uncle Anil. Lots of love always, from Mahasen, Ruby, Gitanjali (Priyanka) & family. ❤️🙏🏽🌹xXx
