Happy memories of a much loved uncle. A quiet man who could air his views, and acknowledge yours, without the need for argument or conflict - a rare and valued quality. He will be greatly missed

Dear Uncle Dave, such a lovely uncle, always smiling with a twinkle in his eye. I have such fond memories, from you and I being taken swimming by your Dad as kids Jo, to the day I spent with Dad and Uncle Dave in Grundisburgh in Suffolk where they were evacuated as boys and enjoyed so much going back there together. Thinking of you all and sending much love. xxx

At Matt's 40th Dave told me how very proud he was of Jo and his grandchildren - said he was the proudest granddad in the world. Remember the family fun times and happy memories you made with him.

He told me how proud he was of all of you and could not have wished for more than his beautiful grandchildren - daughter and son in law.(that was at Matt's 40th)
