In loving memory of Michael John Perks who sadly passed away on 27th December 2017. Michael had been in Sandwell Hospital three times since 19th November.
He was born to Bill and Mary Perks in 1941, and had one brother Keith.
He married June in 1972 but never had any children.
He worked for the MEB for 43 years, retiring in 1999.
During his retirement years he was secretary for the area International Dance Teachers Association. He was interested in Ballroom and Latin American dancing and used to attend Goodwin Harding Dance School at Perry Barr, this is where he met June.
He was also treasurer for Perry Hall Community Association, and was on the PCC of Hamstead St Pauls in Great Barr.
May he now rest in peace.
