On Tuesday 9th January 2018, passed away peacefully in St James’s Hospital, aged 88 years.
Much loved husband of Ada of 62 years. Dear father of Timothy and John, grandad to Matthew and Hannah, great- grandad to Liam and Robyn in Canada and the former captain of the 18th Leeds’s Boys Brigade. .
The Funeral Service will take place at Belle Isle United Reformed Church, Nesfield Road, Leeds 10, on Thursday 25th January at 12.30pm followed by Committal at Cottingley Hall Crematorium Chapel at 1.40pm.
Family flowers only please but donations may be made in memory of Derek to Dementia UK and The Alzheimer’s Society for which a collection plate will be available at the service.
