In loving memory of Roy William Skelhorn who sadly passed away on 26th January 2018 after a long battle with dementia. Roy was an adored Dad to Lucy and Hayley and Grandad to Emma, Jack and Meredith.
Roy was loved by his family and much respected by friends and colleagues alike. A hard working man, who was extremely knowledgeable, being able to turn his hand to just about anything.
Roy was born on 21st May 1944 in Bulwell to his parents Len and Gwen being the third eldest of seven with brothers Reg, Keith, Brian, Donald and Steven together with sister Rita.
The funeral will take place at 1pm on Thursday 15th February at Amber Valley Park Memorial and Crematorium, Derby Road, Swanwick, Alfreton, DE55 1BH

I have so many fond memories of my times spent at Uncle Roy’s house with all the Skelhorn family that I could literally write for hours. Rest easy now uncle roy, you will be missed by us all.. Nick (PS. Sorry for losing all your golf balls, it’s the only reason James became pro... practice makes perfect!)
