Paul came to our home on 2 occasions with David and Amanda just before their marriage. After 10 minutes in his company, I felt we had known Paul forever.... he was just that rare gentleman you come across once in a while who is, simply, great company. A sad loss to his many friends and his family who meant so much to him.

Jenny and I will always remember the many happy occasions spent with Paul especially at the farm when he came to ride and also the extremely competitive games of golf which he and I played after he had introduced me as a member of Holtye GC. We had many good laughs together and those occasions will echo in our memory for time to come.
We send our love to to David & Sarah and all your family

Paul was a man I admired, who became a family friend I was very fond of. Warm and witty, his was a personality I felt very at ease with and always pleased to be in the company of. I shall keenly miss that distinctive 'belly laugh' of his, and his gentlemanly manner. He was an instant hit with my partner Sarah who was latterly getting to know him, and the pair of us will miss him greatly. Our thoughts are with David, Sarah and your families x

Paul was a lovely man. Warm, caring, generous, he was a true gentleman and he was taken far too soon.
Condolences to David and Sarah and their families. Much love Hugh and Mel.

Paul was my closest and longest standing friend. He will be remembered as kind and honest and for the incessant laughter we shared on many golfing trips over the years, particularly to Quinta do Lago which was one of his favourite places stay and play.

I met Paul 30 odd years ago - on a golf course with the DHGS. In 1998 he was Captain and I was his VC and seemed to bond. We had a lot of fun over those many years - we will all miss him.
