Dad preferred the simpler things in life, not caring for extravagants but at the same time having the best he could. He was always smartly dressed and had good old fashioned morals.I can’t really say what Dad was like growing up as a kid, Because he was just a kid when he fell in love and married mum, and together they stood the test of time. And when she needed him most he never faltered, she became disabled and he cared for her for over twenty years, every day until she passed away and didn’t look for gratitude because of it.
That’s the kind of man Dad was .
He thought the world of his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren he loved them all. Dad liked to reminisce about the passed he’d tell stories of times with his brothers and sisters and would
always say it would be nice if they could get together more often, because he thought the world of them all
Dad liked a joke, he had a dry reply for everything,
he was even joking with us and the nurses the day before he passed away.
Dad would want to be remembered with love and laughter and not tears or sadness, and i would just like to say to him wherever he is, Dad you brought us up well you were kind and you were caring and you were always concerned about how everybody was doing before yourself. We will never forget you, we will always love you, and we will always miss you.
God bless you dear Dad and thanks for the memories.

Love to you forever
Mike and Sheila

Dear Mike, I’ve never seen you without a smile, a joke and a twinkle in your eye, and always showing such kindness and respect towards others.
Your charisma, selflessness and courage to embrace life whatever it may bring will continue to inspire me.
You will always live in my heart... and in the hearts of so many who love and miss you.

We will see you again... and until we do, have fun with Marie, dance, laugh and check out all the good places up there, to take us all when we meet again.

My love goes with you everywhere, Jacqueline xx
