ROSS, Carrol Beverly, peacefully on February 14th, 2018 aged 72 Years. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Ross, much loved mother of Karen and grandmother of Jovonna, Aleyna, and Kiana. Carrol leaves her brother Allan Alberga, sister Marlene Alberga, and a host of nieces and nephews to mourn her passing. Carrol will be sadly missed by all her family and friends in the United Kingdom, Canada, Jamaica, and the United States of America.

Carrol came to England from Jamaica in 1964 and completed her nurse training in London. She later went on to specialize in mental health nursing. Carrol worked at Ipswich hospital for many years in her roles as staff nurse, ward sister, and nurse educator. Even after retiring, Carrol volunteered with several organizations including those providing assistance to victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.

Known for her kind and caring spirit, Carrol never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need that she could. Carrol enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, and was an avid crossword puzzler. Health was very important to her and she was a regular at the gym. I only met you once when you came to visit us for that brief time in Atlanta. It was great meeting my husband's "little" sister and we promised to see each other again, but never did on this plane. However, I was happy for the time we were able to spend together. Rest well, dear sister-in-law; indeed, we will meet again someday.
