In loving memory of Edith Mary 'Edie' Ridley who sadly passed away on 18th February 2018

Jayne Dowell wrote

I shed some tears at your funeral today because I miss you. Whilst you may be gone I am left with so many wonderful memories that I will treasure; letting me sometimes beat you at cards, helping to make crackers and cheese for your guests and leaving hot water bottles in my bed amongst many. Always giving. So I would like to give you this poem I found:

God took you in his loving arms,
He saw you needed rest,
His garden must be beautiful,
Because he only takes the best.

Always know you are loved and missed by so many. xxxx

You mean so much to so many.
Your sense of humour and love will be sadly missed by us all.
I never tired of hearing you say on your birthday, "I'm 21 and a bit. And don't worry what the bit is."
You leave an empty hole in all our hearts. But we smile with pride and happiness knowing we had the best mum/Nan anyone could ever wish for. x x x x x x
