Hope you had a happy heavenly wedding anniversary? I spent most of it stuck in traffic on the M25. It did allow me to think & reflect on our 35 years together. These Memories are very special. Missing you so much.β€οΈπŸ’”

It's been six years Dad. How? They said time was a great healer, yet we feel your absence more and more.
Six years since I had a hug, heard that whistle or shared a breakfast at Karen's. I keep your voicemail just so I can hear your voice. Silly really. Wish you were still here though.
I miss you x

They always make me think of you, the flowers of February. Mum and I hate February now, it's a month of pain, over and over again. We are both still so raw and hurting so much and everything is far from over. The constant stress of the situation has changed me forever and some days I just don't know how you aren't here anymore. Dean, Austin and Lois need you too. There's just this void and other people fighting to make that void even bigger and our world as we knew has been torn apart. I miss you every day Dad, I wish you could see all of this, I really do.
Sending love for you in the clouds.
Love Ky x

Spent a lovely lunch with Margaret & Keith in celebration of their 60th Wedding Anniversary. Caught up with the usual suspects. Trevor C has a new lady in his life - she's very nice. Getting plenty of Tomato's & 3 huge cucumbers. Going to thing about putting the greenhouse to bed soon. Heard that Joyce & Terry B are both in a home, which is sad. We all still talk about you. Missing you so very much. πŸ’ŒπŸ₯°πŸ˜˜

  • The world is a far sadder place without him in it, it's a real shame that his compassion, honour and general demeanour wasn't passed on. Dad would be so angry at what you're being put through Mama, don't forget we are here for you too x

  • As much as we enjoy meeting up and enjoying each others company, the time is never quite the same now. We always raise a glass when we're together and even 'virtually' at times. You're much missed and always will be. You can rest easy that we'll do all we can to support Rose but you would be so proud of her! Rest easy my friend.

Happy Heavenly Birthday JH. Missing you more than words can say. Just wish you’d stop hiding things in the house ! I don’t like getting cross & telling you off - but you always put them near by for me to find 🀣. Bet you feel pleased with yourself when you do that….
There are some gorgeous strawberries in hanging baskets I got this year, just waiting for the rasps to ripen. Your little apple tree is doing rather well. The bendy lilac tree has recovered from being cut half way down ( so the wall could be repaired & made taller. It’s now growing straight up 😊. The ivy is currently growing like mad so will need to get that cut all the way back. So plenty of jobs to do but wading through the big ones. The bedroom ceilings are drying out well & hopefully can be plastered & painted in the autumn. Love & miss you. R. XxxxxxX

Happy birthday dad, you are always in my and especially today.
We have another week booked away in the caravan in July. We aren't going far back to a site we went to last year. I'm going to teach myself how to paddle board.
Grace is in the middle of doing her mocks at school, not a Good time if you are a child.
Grace is really doing well with her badminton, she now trains with the junior county team. She had try outs last Sunday to see if she had the potential to be picked to play for the county, next she has to play matches in September and then they will decide if she gets a place.
I had a really nice cooked breakfast this morning in a posh cafe, there were playing lovely gentle music over the sound system. They even give you a posh biscuit with your mug of tea, you would have loved it.
It goes without saying that we still miss you terribly and wish that you were here with us.
Have a drink for me and the girls, that includes sky. It was her birthday yesterday.
Love you dad

Happy Heavenly Birthday Dad. Wish you were here πŸ˜” Bet you'd be getting ready to head to the oyster bar in Whitstable with Mum or already on holiday in Lanzarote... Sunning it up with a B&B to sip while you read the paper and watch the world go by.

We love you so much. Lois and I sung Happy Birthday too. Probably best you didn't hear that bit 🫣

Lots and lots of Love from Me, Dean and the Woodlets xxx
