In loving memory of Ann Denise Rice who sadly passed away on 25th February 2018

Born in 1948 to Mary and Dennis Ray, Ann was the eldest of 4 children - twins Judy and Jeff, and the youngest of the family, Paul. They all called her big sister, even though she was smaller than everyone. Ann first met her husband Chris in the Queen's Head pub in Erdington. They were married in 1973 and their one and only son Peter was born in 1978.

As you all know, Ann had been battling Arthritis for the last 30 years as well as numerous other ailments. But not once did anyone ever hear her complain. She was the toughest, most loving, and strongest willed person many of us will ever have the honour of knowing. Ann loved travelling the world and going on holiday with friends and family. She never let anything hold her back from the things she wanted to do. We've all seen her on the dancefloor with her crutches at one point or another. She loved nothing more than her little adventures with her two best friends, Geraldine and Maggie.

Ann has left behind more than just a footprint on the hearts of everyone she loved. She will be missed by so many.

Teresa and Malcolm Tims donated £15 in memory of Ann

A remarkable woman and great cousin. Rest in peace Ann.

How can we put into words how we feel about the sad loss of our big sister and aunty to our two daughters kelci and kaylah.

We are in shock, our hearts are broken.
Every day is a struggle, holding onto our memories of special times with Ann and Chris.
Ann you suffered pain but never moaned, instead you were there to listen to every one else and helped others in time of need.

Ann we miss you each and every day .
We miss your smile
We miss your voice, your sense of humor, your charm, your wit. We miss our chats over a cuppa, you listened and always made us all feel better.

Ann you are now with mom and dad in heaven at peace . You will always be in our hearts .
Love you always RIP big sister.. Ros Paul Kelci and Kaylah xxxxx

Ann was my cousin we did not see a lot of each other but there was always a strong bond. She was amazing when my mom and dad needed help before they passed away strong and wonderful in her support for which I never forget despite her own pain. She bought smiles to their faces and love to their hearts. Rest in Peace Ann Lolly and Peter xx
