Mum was born the daughter of violet and Walter Bennett she lived in eltham south east london, with her two sisters and her brother she survived the war , a divorce and worked at one time 3 jobs at once to make ends meet, she loved animals and children and had a magic touch with both. all children loved her and animals too.
She was loving and kind hearted and everyone that met her couldn’t help but fall in love with her, even my late father said after they had split up that she was the one true love of his life .
She loved gardening seeing things grow ,and was a truly creative soul ,she passed her city and guilds in advanced cookery at the age of 40 something she was immensely proud of ,she drew well she knitted brilliantly ,she iced and baked cakes professionally and gave regularity to her favourite charities .
There wasn’t many things she did not try she even did a mini marathon at 75 in aid of cancer relief.
She was an incredibly patient good hearted and loving parent, grandmother and great grandmother, her sense of humour was ingrained and never left her even whilst being put into traction, she was the bravest person i have ever been blessed to know, some people miss their loved ones on birthdays and holidays my mum lived with us and will be missed every day, simply because to know her was to love her. she is unforgettable. I am truly blessed to have been loved by her and I’m sure she took a little piece of my soul with her, you will never be forgotten mum we love you. I know that you are at peace and with dad. I know you are happy by his side again and you are both watching over us all.

MUM
loved you then
Love you still
Always have
ALWAYS WILL
