In loving memory of Joyce Tarry who sadly passed away on 26th March 2018
Joyce was happily married to Walter Tarry. Having seven lovely children,
Linda, Anita, Stephen, Jeffrey, Elaine, Mandy, Debbie.
Mom was always known as Momma Joyce, you all knew how important family holidays was to mom. Mom and Dad always made sure we went on holiday at least once a year usually to porthcawl, we loved beach combing collecting shells, crabbing, swimming, sun bathing as in them days we had a true summer oh and bingo, bingo was always a favourite of moms she would always say " cummon give us a win" and rub her lucky charm on her tickets.
Moms life long friend Sylvia, they were inseparable until Sylvia sadly passed before her time.
Mom and Sylvia alway enjoyed a tipple of sherry as kids we were always sent to the local off-licence with an empty bottle to buy a half or pint of sherry.
We all grew up at 20 Fenton Rd, Acocks Green. It was a small three bed roomed home filled with laughter and happiness and we have many happy memories.
Mom had 20 grandchildren she has joined 2 of them in heaven, I know Fay-Louise and Carla will be sitting on her lap having lots of cuddles. Mom had 28 great grand children so always had a draw full of cards ready to send out.
Mom was a dog lover, we alway had a dog, as mom would say a house isn't a home without a dog
Other memories of mom was her awful Bet Lynch ear rings but the best memories for me will always be her smile. X
We love you mom.x

When I married my husband, Michael White, I had no idea that I would gain such a big and wonderful family. At the center of that family was Joyce, whom me and my kids called Nan. She lived such a full and happy life and I know that because of how her children and grand children turned out. She was full of life, always making jokes like calling me a yank, and she loved with all her heart. I know I speak for my husband Michael, one of her grandchildren, when I say that she will be dearly missed. We will all be together again someday and I am honestly blessed to be able to spend my after life in Heaven with such an amazing family, friends, and people like Nan. We love and miss you lots and lots and jelly tots.

My sister Joyce was 11 years old when she helped my mother to bring me into the world during an air raid in world war 2. Joyce always stayed close to me, even when starting work at 14 years of age and each Friday would give both Ethel & I threepence and a bag of sweets.Joyce loved ballroom dancing and always dyed her hair the same color as her dress. Joyce played the accordion and loved life to the full. We walked the dogs together at Hall Green dog track, also worked together in a small grocers in Acocks Green village. Joyce was a loving and caring sister. God Bless

I remember happy times visiting Auntie Joyce and Uncle Wal. I stayed with you when they had the shop and we would all squash in the same bed top to toe and we would help ourselves to the sweets from the shop. I also remember your mom's cooking (not to be recommended). Also her love of animals, mom said Auntie Joyce was always bringing stray animals home. Our condolences to all the family, love from Janet and John xx
