In loving memory of Maureen Ann Robinett who sadly passed away on 5th April 2018.

Maureen was born to Maude and Bernard Semmence on 21st April 1948 and she was very proud that this was the Queen's birthday.

She met Geoff at Paul Taylors and they were married in September 1967 at St. Matthews Church, Eye. Maureen and Geoff celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last September.

Their first home was in Stanground and on the 21st February 1969 Sadie was born. After a move to Mace Road, Oakdale Natasha arrived on 13th October 1971.

As a family holidays in North Wales were an annual event.

Maureen was a proud and devoted nanny to six grand children: Kelly, Ashley, Ellie, Logan, Kieran and Thomas.

Recently she welcomed the role of great nanny when Lucas and Heidi were born. Lucas enjoyed sleepovers with nanny Mo Mo and grandad Gep.

Maureen worked at Fletton Primary school for many years. She was also Nanny Mo Mo to over 100 little ducklings at Dilly Ducklings which she established with Sadie.

Maureen's funeral will take place on Monday 23rd April at 2pm at St. Margarets Church, Fletton, PE2 8DE.
The committal will follow at 3.30pm at Peterborough Crematorium, PE6 7JE.
All are welcome to come back to Sadie’s house afterwards to attend the funeral reception.
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations should be made via Sadie or Tasha to Guide Dogs.

We are hoping to raise enough to be able to have a guide dog named in memory of Maureen, if you would like to make a donation online, please visit our crowdfunding page by clicking here.

Nanny Momo,

I will always remember that first time you made me feel special. We were walking to the car when I was pregnant with Lucas and you called me your grand daughter. From that moment I truly felt like your grand daughter so I thank you for that.

You have always been an incredible support and I can see why you touched the hearts of everybody you met. You were a fabulous great grandmother to Lucas and Heidi. You were so proud to be the first person to meet Heidi and I feel privileged to have given you that moment.

You not only have been an emotional support through out the past 5 years but you and Geoff were also kind enough to open your home to us all which I greatly appreciate.

I will miss your unique voice, your great sense of humour and your very truthful outlook on life. My promise to you is that your memory will certainly live on. Lucas will continue talking about you and Heidi will be reminded fondly about how much she looks like you and how proud you were of that fact.

We all love you so much - rest in peace.
Xxxxx

It was a pleasure to know you Maureen, and Ryan and Lauren always enjoyed beavers and cubs with you. I’m so pleased that I got to see you again before you passed , even for the short time you were at Clayburn court, as I hadn’t seen you for a few years after I moved home. Rest in peace Maureen x
