In loving memory of Stuart Lyndon Mason who sadly passed away on 3rd March 2018. Stuart was born in North Wales but moved to Abingdon, Nr Oxford at 3 years old, moving to Droitwich in 1980. It was here that his father bought him his first guitar (he was expecting a computer!) and discovered the joy of making music. He became a very talented musician, playing in various school concerts, and anywhere else he could. When he left University in Leeds and went to work at 1st Direct, he joined a Radiohead tribute band, and was at his happiest when playing his guitar. He then moved to work in London for a few years before moving to New York. There he got into his comedy writing, making loads of new friends in the process. On his return to the UK he spent time as a TV Extra, then spent a few months playing in a band on board a ferry going from Hull to Holland, before returning to work in London. He loved to travel, but music was the love of his life His friends used to say that Stuart always had a plectrum or five in his pocket, and his guitar was never far away, He was a kind, thoughtful and generous man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Just thinking of the holidays you spent in North Wales with Mark - your grand-parents enjoyed them almost as much as you both did - happy days!

  • Yes you are spot on there - they really enjoyed having the boys to stay. They all had so much fun.
