Alex (87) passed away peacefully at his home on the 25Th April 2018. He was the widow of Gladys Morrison. They shared many happy years together.
He was born in Glasgow, but travelled all over the world with the Merchant Navy and the Army. He moved to Corby with his family in the 60's for the steel works.
He was a devoted father to Christine, Owen, Spud (Alex), Maggie and Diane. He also loved his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren very much.
The funeral service will be held at St. Ninians Church, Corby on the 22nd May 2018 at 12pm. Followed by his burial at the Shire Lodge Cemetery at 1pm. Celebrations of his life will be held in The Grampian Club Corby, following the service.
The family have requested that in lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Lakelands Hospice, who helped Alex with his end of life care.

Sending my sincere condolences to all the family at this difficult and upsetting time.
I never knew Alex senior, but if Owen and Alex junior (spud) are chips off the old block then
I am sure he rests easy knowing that he made some fine men in his own image well equipped to carry his family legacy onward. RIP Alex Morrison (Senior).
