A year ago today I had the dreaded phone call.
I miss you more then words can ever say.
I tell Archie stories and he points at your picture and says grandad and gives you a kiss.
I know you are watching over us all each and every day and I hope we are making you proud.
I know your at peace and pain free but doesn’t make losing you any easier.
Thank you for everything you did and always being there as my support network a friend, a light when I was lost, AA when I broke down and so much more I love you so so so much xxxx

The moment that you left us are hearts were split in two, One side filled with memories the other with sorrow just for you.
I often lay awake at night whilst the house is fast asleep and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek,
remembering you is easy i do it everyday, missing you is the heartache that never goes away.
i tell archie everyday the stories yout told me,
About the many places you had been to and the things you got to see.
With Christmas just arround the corner and gifts under the tree.
my only wish this year would be a kiss from you to me.

Merry Christmas Grandad/ Great Grandad I LOVE YOU XXX

When tomorrow starts without me and I’m not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes filled with tears for me,

I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did that day,
While thinking of the many more things we didn’t get to say.

I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,
And each time you think of me I know you’ll miss me too.

When tomorrow starts without me don’t think that we’re apart
For everytime you think of me
I’m right there in your heart.

Saw this and thought of you grandad not a day goes past I don’t miss you and think about you or wish for one more phone call one last cuddle. I love you xx
