In loving memory of Cynthia Mavis Bennett who sadly passed away on 4th May 2018.

Cynthia was a friendly person who was loved by all that knew her. She enjoyed talking to people and found people's life stories very interesting.

She was very kind, generous and caring and often thought of others.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Cynthia did not want anyone to waste money on flowers for the funeral.

Cynthia found the help and support of the Macmillan team very comforting in her final month of life so if anyone would like to make a donation to them it would be gratefully appreciated.

We would like you to join us afterwards to celebrate Cynthia's life at:

The Tuffers Bar
The Cricket Centre
Plough Lane

Dear Cynthia,

You will be greatly missed especially our chats over the garden fence. You always beat us to hanging the washing out - much as we tried! We will always think of you when we see your beautiful garden.

Rest in peace.

Love from

Lenny & Seema

Cynthia,
You were always the dear friend who would lend a sympathetic ear. You took me under your wing and never ever got cross when I overslept and did not wake on time to take over on night duty from you. In our younger years we laughed and cried together, mostly laughed. I will miss the Christmas cards with the updates.
Rest In Peace dear friend.

A very sad loss. Your memory will live on, not least through the lovely garden that you and Robin created in Cyprus.

Rest in peace.

Cynthia, it was such a pleasure to have known you in Cyprus. You were such a kind and caring neighbour. Certainly the workaholic of the site. I used to love our little chats in Cyprus, and in later years our email catchups. A genuinely lovely lady, you will be missed. God bless, and may you rest in peace. xx

I know how much support the Macmillan nurses gave you each day, they do an amazing job and gave you the strength to carry on. I will be forever grateful to them for making your last month that little bit easier. Aisha was amazing and I know you really looked forward to her daily visits which always perked you up.
Rest in peace mum, you will never be forgotten

To my favourite Aunty
I can’t believe your gone . life is cruel sometimes, as you were one of life’s treasures . Kind caring funny & loving , hard working and so much more . You were my rock on many occasions and that I thank you for . You always made time to visit or be visited and I’ll miss our laughs and giggles outings & chats you were always kind caring and your generosity new no bounds . Got to believe you’ve gone to a better place were you can hang up that duster & polish and relax ( although knowing you you’ll be whipping them all into shape lol ) Rest in peace from your favourite niece xxx My heart goes out to the rest of the family at this sad time xxxx
