In loving memory of Pauline Warnes who sadly passed away on 8th May 2018.

Originally from Derbyshire, Pauline moved to Blidworth with her parents as a young girl and it was in this village she stayed (although in a few different addresses), marrying a local lad, Chris and having two children, Lisa and Matthew.

Pauline's greatest trait was her caring nature and she worked at the local residential home in Blidworth looking after many of the village's older residents until her own illness became too difficult for her to carry on.

However, as one door closes another opens and she was blessed with four grandchildren; Jessica, Charlotte, Willow and Max with whom she spent many hours looking after, enjoying holidays together and doing all those things that grandma's do best.

The loss of a wife, sister, mum, grandma and friend will leave an enormous hole in all our hearts but we would like you to join us on the 8th June 2018 12.30pm at Mansfield Crematorium to celebrate Pauline's life and afterwards at the Rainworth Village Hall on Kirklington Road, Rainworth. If you could show your intention to attend on this page it would be much appreciated.

A memorial book will be created using the comments, candles, photographs left on this page so please feel free to share your memories

Pauline bravely battled against Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and the family politely ask that instead of flowers, a donation can be made to The MS Society through the justgiving link on this page in Pauline's memory.

Thank you for your love and support

Auntie Pauline was a big part of my life when I was growing up. She helped to look after me with our nana. Being around all my cousins and just being a kid playing up at the meadows will be the memories I will keep forever. Auntie Pauline will definitely be missed by a lot of people. I will never forget that she had a part in the woman I am today.
