It is with deep regret to announce that Graham Wykes was sadly taken from us at the young age of 77 on Wednesday 16th May 2018.
He has left behind his children, David and Kim, partner Ruth and grandchildren, Sophie and Joel and was loved by everyone who’s lives he touched.
Graham worked for GPO/BT until the age of 53 when he retired. He led a very fulfilling life with lots of hobbies and interests. He had a very close relationship with his family.
Words cannot describe how much this man was loved and he will be so sadly missed by all.

If anyone wishes to make a donation to charity instead of sending flowers, you can do so via this page (that would qualify for gift aid) or there will be a collection in the crematorium.

For the funeral, those wishing to leave from the house can meet there at around 1.45pm.

02/06/18 - We would like to thank everyone who attended dad’s funeral yesterday. He had a fantastic turn out. Thank you also for the lovely comments, the cards, flowers and kind thoughts. Thank you too for the donations to St. Mary’s Hospice. It’s a great cause and will help many people when they need it most. xx

Graham's infectious smile and happy go lucky outlook will always stay with me. He'll be watching over us and probably making the heavenly hosts laugh with his good humour. God rest you Graham.
Our condolences to Kim, Dave, Sophie, Joel, Ruth, Jean, Mark and all.

Dave, Melissa, Thomas and Freya.

Graham was such great company at our Spanish group; we often laughed more than we learned, with plenty of chocolate biscuits of course!
It just won't be the same without him, and I'll miss him enormously. Hasta la vista, mi amigo xx

Graham,

Sorry we never got to say goodbye. You were such a lovely person and we always held you in such high regard. We always used to love our visits to see you and Ruth. Remembering the breakfasts you cooked, our walks around the block when you had a sneaky cigar, the impromptu keyboard lessons with Ruby, days out to the Black Country Museum, Cadbury’s World, Stratford Upon Avon and many more, walks up the Lickies and Cannon Hill park, visiting your dear old Mum and also just generally nattering away in the evening in your living room whilst sipping red wine and enjoying each other’s company. Lovely warm memories that we will never ever forget. I’ve been saying to Michelle since Christmas that we were due to visit soon; it’s difficult to comprehend that we no longer can.

Remembering you fondly always,
Goodnight and god bless.

All our love, Andy, Michelle, Ruby & Amy. xxxx
