Mam when I hear that word now it cuts through me like a knife, I am so proud to call you my mam you were the mother that every child could have asked for, you kept me safe you kept me warm you picked me up when I was down, you showed me the path to follow and you put me straight back on it if I fell off im grateful that you are now free of pain, and when I come to terms with your passing I will understand that you are where you want to be with dad I will miss you always but I will carry the memories we made in my heart
love you now and always your loving son Stephen xxxxxx

Nan, we may not have said I love you very often, but it was usually the last words spoken before I left your home. It was not something brought up in conversation, but you knew it was in that home and in your heart. Your looks could say a thousand words. You knew when I was hurt. You picked me up so many times when I fell. You taught me to be strong. You were a Nan a friend and so much more. I'm sad your gone, but I know with Grandad you are now home. Love you. X
