Sadly, Shirley, fondly referred to by her friends in Trinidad and Phyllis for those from the United Kingdom passed away in her sleep on Friday 1st June 2018.

She leaves behind two daughters Cheryl and Michelle, two grandchildren Paige and Omar, her great granddaughter Kaiyah and her son in law Roger.

Phyllis was 79 and lived a full life, helping others in need wherever she could, working with her beloved Croydon Seventh-Day Adventist church and sharing her love for God whenever she could.

If you were ever touched by Phyllis and in loving memory why not post a comment, upload your favourite picture, light a candle the family would love it ❤️

Sis Phyllis was an inspiration. My fondest memory is spending time on the Youth Mentoring training she was a source of laughter, insight and inspiration to us all.

Her passion and closeness to God was admirable. She will be truly missed.... but I know she is sleeping in God and will be excited to finally see him on that day.

Aunty Tirley!!!...as we lovingly called her in Trinidad...she said that her little brother couldn't call her shirley so he would say Tirley....I guess myself, aunty Pearl and Chelsea adopted that name also...we enjoyed her presence in Trinidad a couple months ago, aunty Tirley spent a few days at my new home and said a prayer...I am so glad that I got to spend some quiet time with her!!!

Flanked by 'double trouble' - my aunt Phyllis and my Mum. There was always laughter when my aunt visited.
