My memories of June will always be of a kind and loving family woman. I especially remember many new years when Allan would invite me and I always felt like a part of June and Ernie's family. Great memories are never forgotten.

We didn't know you for very long, but we're so pleased that we did eventually meet up. How much we enjoyed our time together with dear June. We do like our Scottish family very much!

My Mother in Law had a wicked sense of humour.
When Allan and I got married, she had great fun during the speeches, laughing along with all the jokes.
That is until our best man Ian started joking that he was going to bring out a "special guest". Someone who Allan spent lots of time with in his room in his younger years.
She started to worry, laughing raucously one minute, and looking at me in panic the next. Then Ian had a blow up sheep brought out and presented to Allan. She howled with laughter, enjoying the joke enormously.
She continued to tease Allan for years about our special wedding guest. The photo I have attached, reminds me what a good time she had that day, and how many laughs she got from it.

My mum had a bit of a sweet tooth and had bought one of those domino cakes from the local bakers. Well she laid it out in the living room coffee table popped to the kitchen to get a knife and make a cup of tea. On return to the living room the domino cake was gone, eaten by our loveable pet border collie "Sam", now at the time mum was lets say not best pleased with our Sam, however this was a story mum often told which fondly reminded her of that brilliant but flawed pet :)
