Michael has been a friend since we were at Primary School and then into Youth and Adult Football Teams together. He was part of a tight knit group of buddies in his single days and most of us from that time in the early 70's are still in contact. I was with Mike on the night he met his wonderful wife Angela and I am sure he knew on that very evening that she would become his soulmate and lifelong partner. Despite not seeing Mike for probably 15 or 20 years, I know that if we were to get together again despite the years passing, it would be like we had never been away. Mike will always be dearly loved by his old pals here down South, as will Angela. There will be a small group of us getting together at 12.30 on Friday 6th July at one of our pub haunts in Barnes, where we used to meet and will say a fond farewell with a glass in hand and toast to the times and laughs we all had together. Goodbye old mate. Love , John,Frances, Lynn,Mike, Phil and Keith.

I did not meet michael, but sleep peacefully after much suffering. I wish I could be with you for your final journey. I will be thinking of all your family on Friday.
