My last few months with you John went by in the blink of an eye but now it seems like time stands still. Every day is like an eternity without you. We had many great times together and we had so many plans for things we were going to do. I don't know what the future has in store now but it will never be the same without you. You were my world. I will do my best to make you proud of me and I know you will always be with me , though not in the way I would like.
Love you always 💘 xx

Dad you loved me unconditionally even though at some points I was a brat but always a daddys girl. Your tact for getting me to do the right thing without me realising was magic!
From day one you taught me to be the best version of me that I can be.
I was blest with 42 years of the most amazing role model I could ever ask for. You were saved 42 years ago to give all us us your wisdom, knowledge and strength all of which will be be past on in your johnisms through your children, grandchild, stepkids, nieces /great nieces and nephews/great nephews..
Your brothers and sisters love you more than you can imagine and believe it or not sometimes you were their wiser elder.
My heart breaks as I was not ready to lose you but more because you were not ready to go and you had so much more to do.
Mum and Dad thank you for our amazing childhood and so many happy years.
Dad and and Karen thank you for making each other so happy later in life.
Thank you so so much to every person that has text, called, posted, donated and came along. We know how amazing our Dad was but to hear it so much from others has been such a blessing.
How we take each day from here I have no idea but I thank you all for being part of my Dad's journey xx
Love you so much Dad 💚❤💚❤xx

John,
We can never thank you enough for your patience and support you've given us for over 20 years.
You impressed us with your skills but even more so by being an incredible person who always helped us out when we needed you most.
You never minded the little ones following you around, asking questions and trying to 'help' you out. Clearly you never needed their help but you made them feel so valued and taught and inspired them so much; they will remember those lessons forever.
You will be missed dearly and remembered fondly; especially when every room showcases some of your amazing handiwork.
There will never be another 'John the Joiner'.
Rest in Peace Dear Friend.
