Brian David Gay (7 Nov 1937 - 27 Jun 2018)

Brian was the kindest and funniest man I knew, he taught me so much about the best way to live and be happy. He always had a funny story to make me laugh right to the end and I will treasure all the memories we had. I remember last year on his birthday when I told him I’d been thinking and when I first met him he was 59 and I was 19 which was a third his age, and now he was 80 and I was 40 so half his age so I was catching him up. His answer was I’ll stop and wait for you if you want!!

We hit the jackpot having you as our Dad, your unconditional love was amazing, your sense of humour no one could ever beat. I will miss you so much. Thank you for being my dad and everything you have taught me. My hero My Dad. xxx
