In loving memory of Sarah Kathleen Spencer who sadly passed away on 28th June 2018.

On the 28 June 2018 I lost the great love of my life-my wonderful mother. I will miss her for the rest of my life and treasure her words of wisdom and funny stories of growing up in Ireland with my Aunts and Uncles. She was a true lady. Her life wasn't easy and she faced many hardships in her time but she persevered through it all and would never let anything hold her back.

She left her life in Ireland to marry my father, Barry. We were a very happy family and the house was always filled with fun and laughter with my mum as the very heart of the place. My father and I were truly spoiled rotten with her baking prowess. She kept everything and everyone together. She was always there to pick me up and dust me off when I had fallen off my bike or was out climbing trees with the neighbourhood kids which seldom ended well. I could go to my mum for anything. My mum was the kindest most patient woman I knew and a wonderful mother, always there for others and full of warmth and consideration. She accepted me and all who stepped into her house for exactly who they were and with complete respect.

Mum was very active in the church, namely, Sacred Heart in Tamworth. One of the first things she sought out when she arrived in Tamworth was the local church. It was her go to place, her happy place where she would get much comfort and clarity from her visits whether it was Sunday mass or her weekly rosary group or the bible study group she was most happy when she was there. She had many friends at the church and many would comment on her radiant smile and warm embraces, many would get a lot of comfort from just being in her presence and now we are all left with a big hole but wonderful memories.

Rest in piece mum.

Always and forever, your Daughter, Alana. xxx
