In loving memory of Rita Davie who sadly passed away on 7th July 2018
Dear friends and family,
On Tuesday 24th July at 10:30am there will be a funeral service held at Gedling Crematorium for Rita Davie (see below for full details), to which all are welcome to attend.
Following the funeral service please join us for a celebration of Rita’s LIFE! This will be held at the Ashwood Centre, 12pm onwards. The celebration service will include light refreshments and an opportunity to share stories and meet the people who knew this amazing daughter, sister, mother and friend to so many.
As we meet in celebration of Rita’s life, her request was that, the dress code reflects that and not be restricted to only black. Colourful outfits are encouraged!
Weather permitting the family also plan to continue the celebration in the form of an informal picnic/walk at Rufford Country Park which is open to all.
Thank you to all who have sent flowers, cards and condolences already. For those who have asked about charitable donations, there will be opportunities for this on the day and online once the charities have been chosen.
We understand that all may not be able to attend due to prior commitments but we hope to see you there.
