In loving memory of Barbara Teresa Stones who sadly passed away on 5th August 2018 Aged 85 years

John Whitworth wrote

Such a blessing to me to have been able to attend Barbara's funeral yesterday, having heard of her "going home" from Daniel .

Was so good to hear again of her life lived so well in service of Jesus, family, friends and neighbours !

So blessed to see the whole wonderful family together, bearing much fruit from seed sown, sorry didn't get to speak to you all, especially Derek, please accept my apology and my blessing to you all. The Lord bless you all and keep you, the Lord make His face to shine upon you all and be gracious unto you all, the Lord turn his face towards you all and give you His peace.

With Love to you all,

John X

Mrs S. You were a massive influence on my life, whilst i sadly never shared your beliefs i respected them and i loved and respected you. As a young boy having Saturday nights staying at your house to look forward to got me through some difficult weeks. Sitting watching Match of The Day downstairs when you were upstairs and trying not to be loud was always hard. Waking up to a bacon cob and hearing you and Mr S Hum Mrs Mills tunes was an endearing memory that i have always carried with me. You welcomed me into your family when you didn't have to but thats what you did with everyone. You and Mr S have always had a relationship i have aspired to have and the way you lived your life was an example to all who have known you both. You will always be in my thoughts and my heart and my biggest regret is that i never told you this directly. I hope you are now at home with your God and i hope he gives you the warm welcome you deserve. I will miss you forever and to me you will always be Mr & Mrs S the Lord and Lady of the Lodge.
