I went to Kings Edwards five ways with Jeremy. He was a great friend and a very talented and intelligent person

I lost touch with him and was saddened to hear of his passing

Hey Jem,
we had some work for you here. You could have activated that synthetic scheme you designed years ago when you were here the first time. It was all too clever for me but Len said it was brilliant. Some things just can't happen without you.
And I always smile when I remember when you were at my place and saw the piano. You said you weren't very good and I foolishly believed you. I would never have played my grade 1 piece if I had known. And then you PLAYED. Wonderful. It was amazing.
You are gone way too soon.

We are saddened to lean of Jem's passing. He worked with us many years ago here in New Zealand as a young man. He was one of the most talented organic chemists I have ever met. We remember him with great affection. RIP
