It was an absolute pleasure working with Ray over so many years, a true gentleman who's professional and courteous manner was greatly respected by all. Ray's smile and laugh were so infectious.

Ray was brave and cheerful even in his final weeks. I will have happy memories of our alternate Friday's out when we had lots of fun doing an assortment of activities. Friday lunchtimes at the 'Wanger and Snatch' will not be the same. This is a café in Yarmouth where we often lunched before playing snooker. Ray would invariably have ham and cheese omelette with chips.

Ray was so strong and cheerful almost to the end. We have been meeting on most alternate Fridays since we both retired and we always had a good laugh. Friday lunchtime at the 'Wanger and Snatch' (a café in Yarmouth) will never be the same.
