Peter and I first met and sat together on our first day at Middlefield infants school in 1958 when we were both five years old and we have been best mates ever since. His passing was a big shock and it will be strange not seeing Pete around Hinckley anymore. Until we meet again Pete rest in peace mate.

As a lifelong friend who spent many hours round Peter,s mums house after school, I had lost touch after moving to Coalville.I am deeply saddened and shocked by the news of his passing.
