In loving memory of Linda Pamela Vassallo who sadly passed away on 22nd September 2018
Mum was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in April 2016 after months of sickness due to misdiagnosis.
She fought hard for two and a half years and made some amazing memories with each of us that we will all cherish forever.
We were lucky to have such an amazing strong woman in our lives. She was an incredible artist and illustrator, fantastic dressmaker, brilliant cook and beautiful florist, to name just a few of her wonderful talents.
Mum was loving and thoughtful. She wanted nothing more than to see us happy and to spend as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren.
Mum wasn’t a fan of flowers at funerals, so we would be grateful if you would please consider making a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund in Mum's memory in lieu of flowers. (You can use the donate option on this website to do so.)
Mum would very much like to help others with this horrible disease by helping to fund research and trials. This would enable other sufferers to be diagnosed earlier, more accurately and hopefully in the future be cured.
This would mean others won’t have to go through the pain and suffering Mum did or feel the loss and grief we are all going through now.
The Funeral is to be held at 1:45 at Wessex Vale Crematorium, Bubb Lane, West End, Southampton, SO30 2HL
After the funeral you are all welcome to join us for refreshments at Macdonald Botley Park Hotel & Spa, Winchester Road, Boorley Green, Southampton, SO32 2UA

Linda will be sadly missed by all who new her, our thought are with the whole family, we will be there on Tuesday to say farewell to a very special person.
