I've just seen this. I'm sorry I'm so late in finding out Joy. You were a lovely lady and you always had time for me. I have such fond memories of you. You will be missed dearly. My thoughts are with your family. Eloise x

I always loved you, nan. With every inch of my heart. We may have been 120 miles a part, but I still missed you, and now more than ever, I miss you. So much. Rest in peace, I hope you’re smiling down on us with great nan and grandad. Sleep well, you’re with the angels now.

Please accept my sincerest condolences, In the time that I knew Joy, I found her to be a caring, sensitive and loving mother, A warrior to the last, She fought her Cancer with guts and determination and although she lost that battle, she left this life and accepted defeat graciously and bravely. I wish I had known her longer.

If heaven had a window and God granted me a view
of all the beauty it beholds, I'd only look for you.
I'd listen for your laughter that was always music to me.
Your beautiful hair and your loving eyes are what I'd wish most to see.
If I could only view once more the smile that warmed my heart,
I'd treasure that moment as long as I live and we must be apart.
Here on earth I search for you and pray to God for signs,
and every day that passes you're still with me in my mind.
I know you're happy in heaven; you've earned your place indeed.
I imagine your kitchen table and you waiting there for me.
I love you and I miss you more than words can say,
and what I wouldn't give just to talk to you today.
I hope that you can hear me and listen to my thoughts,
and wherever this life takes me you know I've not forgotten
that once upon a time I was blessed and loved, it's true,
and if heaven had a window I'd only look for you.
