In loving memory of Thomas (Tom) Farquharson who sadly passed away in the Pentland Ward at The Royal Edinburgh Hospital on 29th September 2018. Tom, loving dad to Louise and Graeme, beloved partner of Ann and grandad to his four grandchildren.

Dad fought a brave battle for over 3 years. After initially having an acute attack of encephalitis, Dad was diagnosed with underlying lewy body dementia. "Dad" was still very much with us till the end, in spite of the lewy body dementia, and was much loved by staff and residents in the Pentland Ward. A favourite with many, his sense of humour was appreciated by staff who often had tales to tell. He will be sadly missed by all.
