Being the mum of one of my best and oldest friend, you were part of my growing up and all my memories of you are happy ones. You could light up a room with your smile and always enjoyed dancing. It has been a pleasure knowing you. Rest in peace.

My dearest fiend, nothing I want to say seems adequate enough to express the loss of a very dear sister rather than friend as you have been in my life for 82 years. It was both a pleasure and a privilege to know Joyce and spend time in her company. She had many special qualities - always kind, thoughtful and understanding, totally selfless and non-judgemental of others and would celebrate the good in everyone she knew. Joyce so enjoyed life and brought so much pleasure to others along the way.
I shall treasure the memories of our visits to the theatre where Joyce would be on her feet dancing to the music; of days spent 'gadding' all over Kent together, each outing culminating in Joyce's favourite indulgence - ice cream!
Joyce - you have left a legacy of very special memories. God bless you, and thank you.
