Your life and relationships were never easy. You were unfortunate in health. 86 sounds a good age, but it is far too young for you. You will be greatly missed, although I still cannot believe that you are not still there.

Dear Grandma,

I want to start by saying thank you. Thank you for being the best grandma I could’ve wished for. Thank you for everything you’ve ever done for me and everything you’ve taught me over the years.

You always made me happy and seeing you pass has been a massive struggle to me. I know you’re at peace and are no longer in pain. But, even in your last days you continued to fight and make the family proud. You were stubborn and you never gave up.

I won’t ever not miss you. I’m proud to have you as my grandma and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ll always remember you and everything you’ve done for me.

Rest well Grandma, I love you
Lorcan xxxx

Dear Grandma,

You were a beautiful yet stubborn woman. Who always taught me to never give up on my hopes and dreams.

You became very fragile and weak in your old age but you still persisted to show strength and will to everyone who loved you. You showed everyone to not give up as you did your whole life no matter what came at you.

I Miss you so much. Im struggling a lot with your passing. But I know you would want me to carry on stronger and better then ever.

I wear your ring around my neck with passion and pride. You will always be my one and only Grandma

I love you and I miss you
Your Eldest Grandson
Zak x

I miss you Mum.

The last year was a tough one, but like you have always been, you were strong and determined to beat the frailties of old age.

I thank you for being you-sometimes feisty, sometimes awkward, sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes misunderstood but always my Mum.

I learnt many things from you and one of the last things you said to me how proud you were of your family. I promise we will continue to make you proud.

Sleep well Mum, I love you xx

Ma, you made me laugh, you made me cry and sometimes you made me madder than hell but you were you and I wouldn't have had you any other way. You had overcome so many adversities and struggles but now your fight is over and you have been set free. I will miss you and remember you always. Your loving daughter in law Dee xxxx
