Dear Friends and Family

Following our sad news that Brian passed away on Sunday, 14 October 2018, please find below a link to Brian's obituary page. This has been set up for Brian and includes funeral details and an area where you can pay your condolences, leave memories and attach any cherished photos.

In lieu of flowers we are suggesting people may like to donate to Mesothelioma UK. You can do this through Brian's online obituary using the Just Giving link on the right. Alternatively, you can donate by cheque or cash on the day of the service where a secure box will be made available. Please make cheques payable to Mesothelioma UK.

We would love to see as many of you as possible after the funeral service to share your memories of Brian. This celebration will take place at The Quorndon Fox, 46 High Street, Quorndon, Loughborough, LE12 8DT

With love
Jane, Amie and Emma

Thank you Brian for all your support when Dave was diagnosed with mesothelioma. He so much appreciated your advice and chat on the phone, so sorry we never got to meet you. So sad that neither of you turned out to be a long term survivor.

I am still in shock that Brian is no longer with us, especially after a diagnosis less than a year ago. He was a wonderful, caring man who was absolutely dedicated to his family and he will he truly missed. Sending all my best wishes and thoughts to Jane, Emma and Amie x

  • I've heard about the famous braces but never knew you without a beard BilLovely photo. We have found a photo of you Brian and Sue in your kitchen but I think I will have to doctor out the young lady hanging on Brian's arm, Jane

Memories of Brian from early 1960's are legendary. His mechanical skills were more than very handy, particularly getting our first car roadworthy. What a terrific friend to many of us of the same era, especially to lots of girls! Or was that lots and lots of girls.

Although we rarely saw Brian in latter years, he remained a very good friend from afar. He will be sorely missed.

Love Bill & Sue xx
