In loving memory of Doris Edith Watkins who sadly passed away on 17th October 2018

Stacie-Leigh Watkins wrote

When i come to the end of the day,
And the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love we once shared,
Miss me, but let me go.
For this journey we all must take,
And each must go alone.
It’s all part of the maker’s plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to the friends we know.
And bury your sorrow’s in doing good deeds,
Miss me but let me go.

The day has come for us to say goodbye.... you leave a huge hole not only in my heart but also Jakob and Neve's... I promise we will continue to live our lives in a way that will make you proud.... we will reflect on the great times we had with you and think of you as an angel flying high.... and this Christmas you will have your own decoration on our tree alongside the other important people we have lost
Sleep tight and give grandad a huge kiss from us xxx

We saw you getting tired a cure was not to be, grandad put his arms around you and whispered come to me.
With tearful eyes we saw, you had passed away, and although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating, we will miss you everyday.
my life has changed forever Nan, I really wished you’d stayed.

Always Nan to me. Always told me to sod off when I tormented her but was always there with a cup of tea, a sandwich or a place on her floor for me to eat a take away. Sending love to you all at this sad and life changing time, Nan leaves a massive whole no one will ever be able to fill. RIP Nan and until we meet again keep looking down on is all, (I know you won't be able to help yourself), keep up to date with the tennis and enjoy being with your one true love. Love ya Nan, from Sam and family xx
