In loving memory of Betty Moreen Kendrick who sadly passed away on 24th October 2018.
Betty was born in Swannington on the 3rd June, 1929 the youngest of four children. She married Albert in 1949 and spent most of her married life in the bungalow on Ibstock Road, Ravenstone.
She worked at various places around the district and was a keen whist player many of her games played at Swannington Institute where she was a regular prize winner.

We were very sad to hear the news of Betty's death and would like to pass on our sincere condolences to the whole family.
We first got to know both Betty and Albert when we became next door neighbours when moved to our house on Ibstock Road back in 1996. We shared many conversations over the fence and our dogs were always pleased to bark a hello and when we took delivery of our chickens, Betty was our first paying customer.
