She was much loved and will be sadly missed by her husband Bill and children Robert, Elizabeth and Stella and all her family and friends.

Bill Eyers donated £540 in memory of Ann

A huge thank you to all the attendees of the Spindrift Soap Party held last week, you have raise a massive £540 for Ann's WaterAid charity. She would have been so pleased as the donation has far exceeded her expectation of how she could have helped.

A thank to Juliet for the original idea and hosting the event. I hope you all enjoyed the wine and chocolate fridge cake!

I have not known Ann for long but in that short time I enjoyed her lovely personality and smileyness, despite any pain she was enduring.

May she rest in peace and my sincere condolences to her family xx

Ann was such a lovely person, Her sense of humour was wonderful, she had a very positive outlook on life, she explored the mysteries that most of us don't even question, talking with Ann was an education - and made me think about things in a rounded, inquisitive and positive manner - thank you Ann for that and for making me smile. I am sure you will be remembered by all who knew you with warmth and love and now sending that same warmth and love to your family.

A very funny, inspirational and talented lady who always had a smile on her face and time to listen to you. She was a very active member of the PTA at the local school where our children attended together, I will always hold fond memories of her and send my deepest condolences to all her family. Rest in peace Ann x

I am very glad to support a charity that Ann cared about and it is wonderful that so much has been raised in her honour. It has been lovely to read other people's memories and thoughts of Ann, and to see all the gorgeous pictures. Warmest wishes to Bill, Robert, Elizabeth and Stella, to Ann's mum and dad, Peggy and Russell, and to all the Thaine and Eyers families.

I clearly remember Ann and Bill happily cycling away from church after they were married. Also Doreen and I spent a jolly week or two in Salcombe and the Norfolk Broads with Ann and family. I will miss Ann calling me Uncle Ron.

I am sorry to say that the last time I she Ann was probably 1981 when I left the school we both went to in Chertsey. My abiding memory of her is of someone with a mischievous and original sense of humour who was great fun to be with. I remember her reanacting chunks of Star Trek at brea k time, standing on the bridge over the stream with a group of friends who were happy to follow her lead! I am sad that her time with her family has been shortened - I'm sure she will leave a huge gap but equally a great legacy..
