I knew a guy called Charlie Hare
a nicer man would be so rare.
With humour, laughter & good cheer
nobody was down when Chas. was near.
Hare by name but all that said there was virtually none upon his head.
His hand slid over the shiney pate
as he smiled down at an empty plate.
Once piled high with wonderous fayre
alas no longer a morsel there.
His smile, soon back & ear to ear
as someone asked 'Charlie, a beer'?
You could of heard a pin drop, there was no sound
as Charlie asked "is it my round?

Chas.
Husband, family man, friend & just a bloody nice bloke.

Gone, missed, but never forgotten.
Rest In Peace mate. x
